Introduction to Team Competitions
The USTA Youth Team Tournament of the American Tennis Association is held annually in two seasons, spring and autumn, on Saturdays. The regular season lasts for 10 weeks, with 6 singles and 3 doubles games played each time. The number of games played by each team is added up, and the team that wins this week is the one with the most innings. After a season, the top four teams will compete in the finals, and the champion will be determined. The weekly scores will be inputted into the USTA website, counted as individual and team ranking points, to better exercise their body and skills. Children learn how to fight, persevere, and have a basis for their future entry into the high school team. Every year, Orange County will have nearly 5000 young players participating, aged under 10, 12, 14, and 16. Under the age of 18, our children achieve very good results every season
Personal competition introduction
Florida has the highest level of teenage tennis in the United States, followed by Southern California. Here, there are various competitions with point rankings ranging from Level 1-7 every week. All foreign players can participate in various levels of competitions from under 10 to under 18 years old. When you are 16 years old, coaches from various universities will pay attention to your grades and keep in touch with you. The higher your ranking, the easier it is to enter top universities.
